Great Union Day

Great Union Day (Romanian: Ziua Marii Uniri), is also known as Unification Day and National Day in Romania. It is celebrated on December 1 commemorating the unification of Bessarabia, Transylvania and Bukovina with the Kingdom of Romania in 1918, making it known as the Great Union.
