International Workers' Day

May Day, also known as International Workers' Day or Workers' Day, commemorates past struggles of workers and the labor movement and is celebrated in many countries on May 1. In the US and Canada, a similar event known as Labor Day falls on the first Monday in September. It is a national holiday in many countries to celebrate workers around the world and to raise labor consciousness.
