About

Days Name is a calendar of international, national and awareness days. For every observance we explain when it falls, how it began, what this year’s theme is and how people take part.

Dates of United Nations observances follow the resolutions that created them. Dates that move each year, such as religious festivals based on the lunar calendar, are marked as approximate until they are announced.
