Sharad Navratri

Navratri or Navaratri, also known as Adi Parashakti, is a Hindu festival celebrated annually honoring goddess Durga. The festival takes place for nine nights and ten days and falls twice yearly. First, Chaitra (Gregorian: March/April), and later Ashwin (September/October). It has different meanings and is emphasized differently in different parts of the Indian Hindu cultural sphere.
