World Sleep Day 2024 Date

Sleep Day is celebrated annually on the Friday before the March Equinox or Spring Equinox. Initially, World Sleep Day was held on 14 March 2008. WSD 2024 participants and sleep health advocates across the world will take action in their communities, clinics, and countries to raise awareness about sleep health. This year, World Sleep Day will be celebrated on Friday, 15 March 2024.

History of World Sleep Day

World Sleep Day has been organized annually by the World Sleep Day Committee of the World Sleep Society, formerly the World Association for Sleep Medicine (WASM), since 2008. The announcement was initiated by a group of health professionals and clinicians who work and study sleep medicine and research. The goal and objective of observing #WorldSleepDay is to promote the benefits of good and healthy sleep.
